Utley Strategies helps small businesses apply the approaches used by Fortune 500 companies to proposals and marketing. Founded by an APMP-certified Proposal Manager and writer with an MBA, Demi Utley has managed and created more than 150 proposals resulting in over $1 billion of revenue from awarded contracts. In submitting proposals across industries such as government, healthcare, education, non-profit, and corporate, she has identified an approach to customizing proposals that works across all industries, no matter the solution.
Since its founding, Utley Strategies has supported clients of all sizes, ranging from a small 3-person company to established national companies. We offer a full-service approach to proposals including managing and writing responses to RFPs, developing a proposal content library, establishing a proposal process, and reviewing past proposals for guidance on next steps. Our clients also benefit from marketing and business development support to attract clients before they go to RFP.

Demi Utley, Founder & Lead Consultant
I’m Demi Utley, the founder of Utley Strategies, and the person you’ll be working with on most projects. I spent the majority of my corporate career working for large companies in business development and marketing where I learned the processes at Fortune 200 companies. During this time, I led the development of project processes across a 50+ person marketing department, and I leveraged my writing skills to develop compelling sales content.
After taking on a freelance project during my MBA program, I discovered my passion for helping others achieve their goals. I decided that I would use my skills from my education and background to support other businesses. That’s when I started Utley Strategies.
